23.03.20 Change the mood grammar

Adjectives change the 'mood' of a sentence, either positively or negatively. e.g. ______ house could be a haunted house or a cosy house When choosing vocabulary it is important not just to use impressive words, but to think of the mood you're trying to create. Have a look at my example of the moods you can create. Then add and use a text box label your word choice in the gap. Can you match the mood desired? When you're done, go to the next page. See if you can rearrange the adjectives so it sounds right. Think- which ones match? move to arrange Then for a challenge, re-write the sentence, improving it and changing the mood.
