Today we're learning about figurative language to use in out poetry. Lesson Outline: 30 minutes. 1. Look through the slides on figurative language (5-10 minutes) 2. Write a poem on Migration (migration theme) (20-25 minutes). 3. Use at least one example of figurative language in your poem. 4. Underline, use a caption, or voice recording to show where you used figurative language and what kind it is. 5. Upload your poem with figurative language caption to this activity.
