Family Why: Skip counting is a skill that has many uses. For example, students skip count to tell the time, or to count out money. Skip counting helps students with other math concepts like addition, multiplication, and subtraction. Students will also apply this skill in life: students skip count to keep score in sports, or to shop for groceries.
