Student Instructions

You'll represent these three scenarios here. You will need your playdough and something to cut it. There's one page for each scenario. You are to add photos of your thinking and write down the answers to each scenario. -Scenario 1: I had one apple. I cut it into 2 pieces and kept ½. Show another equivalent fraction to that ½ an apple. (Using fractions). -Scenario 2: I had 4 small potatoes. I cut each potato in 3 and kept ¼ of the pieces. How many pieces did I keep? (Using fractions). -Scenario 3: I had two sandwiches. I cut each in 5 pieces. I kept one third of each sandwich. How many pieces did I keep? (Using fractions).
