Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Let’s go on a journey around the school! How many pieces of technology can you spot? Let the children identify them and talk about what each item is for. Talk about the different parts, keyboards, cameras, printers etc. Let the children take photographs. Wherever possible, let the children stop and use the technology. For example, let the children put their hands on the photocopier so that children could work out how it worked and see the printed result. When practising taking photos on the iPad/Camera: Remind the children to place the object in the middle of the photo and keep the iPad still. This won't be easy at first, but practice makes perfect.
