Math Task - Sum to 1000 (Two Addends)

Directions: 1. Your goal is to use the digits 1 - 6 to create a sum as close to 1,000 as possible. But you can only use each digit once! 2. Use the tool to move the number tiles into the boxes you choose. 3. Be sure to check your work! You can use the tools on Seesaw or use paper and pencil. 4. Use the or tools to write your total sum in the red box. 5. When you have finished the problem, use the tool to share how you figured out your solution. 6. Be sure to listen to your recording before you tap the . 7. Tap the to submit your work. I have included a demo for you on page 1 explaining what to do. Remember, you will probably need to try several different solutions before finding the best one!
