Take a picture of your paragraph 1. Say your “I can....” statement, which is what your focusing on 2. Use the finest line pen to underline the introductory topic sentence in green. Say “this is my introductory sentence which introduces the paragraph”. Make sure you don’t go over the words. 3. Underline the supporting detail sentences in yellow and say “these are the supporting detail sentences which support my intro sentence” 4. Underline the concluding sentence in red and say “this is my so what concluding sentence” Read your paragraph with emotion !
