Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

1. Make rock, paper, or scissors behind your back. 2. Count to three with your partner. Then show your hand. 3. Use the rules below to find the winner. 4. Write a tally mark in the chart to show the winner with the pencil pencil. (Remember tally marks are groups of 5). 5. Repeat 20 times. 6. Use the glow pen glowpen to draw a circle around the winner. Was it rock, paper, or scissors? 7. Press check when you are done. Rules: • Scissors beat paper because scissors cut paper. • Paper beats rock because paper wraps around rock. • Rock beats scissors because rock makes scissors dull. • If both players choose the same, it is a tie.
