Student Instructions

Today you will read and record facts about animals using multiple sources. 1. Listen to the directions for the activity. 2. Click the plus to get started on the activity. 3. Choose your name from the list. 4. Use another tab in Chrome to open PebbleGo. 5. Read about an animal you know, or use the Random Article spinner to help. 6. Record interesting facts into your Thinking Book. 7. Use the label tool to add the interesting facts to Seesaw. Be sure to include your animal name and "PebbleGo." 8. Repeat with other animals. *BONUS* Use the mic tool to read all of your interesting facts. 9. Click the check when you are all ready to submit your activity. 10. Click the check again to be all done!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Used to launch our nonfiction reading and writing unit of study. Students will be able to create short sentences stating facts about the animals they researched. Students will be able to put the facts into their own words, and not copy from the sites. Multiple online ebooks could be used (PebbleGo, GetEpic...).
