Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - Day 1 & 2

RL.2.5 Describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story, the events unfold in the middle, and the ending concludes the actions. Day 1: First, look through the book: "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." Then, use a piece of notebook paper, fold it in half. Make a chart with Notice on one side and Wonder on the other side. Then, write what you noticed under Notice, and what made you wonder about it under Wonder. Read the book. Tap Day 2: Read "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" with a partner. Practice telling the story using the Story Stones. If you don’t have any “Story Stones” use the graphic organizer to retell the story to your partner. Tap and listen to "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"
