Student Instructions

Spring Poetry Creation

1. Tap When you think about spring, what do you think about? You're going to create a poem about spring using some words in the word bank and your own words to describe spring. 2. Tap and use the words in the word bank and in your head to create a poem about spring. Think about where you want your line breaks to go. 3. After you have written your poem, read it silently to yourself. Does it make sense? Should you add anything? Delete the words you did not use or move them to the edge of your screen. 4. Tap and illustrate your poem. Be sure to make your illustration connect to your poem. 5. Tap and record the poem you wrote. Be sure to use inflection and pause at the line breaks.
