Student Instructions

Today you will be playing Ratio Race to practice the divide by 10 strategy. Your goal is to play for 5-10 minutes and complete as many charts as you can! 1. Click add button to start. 2. Pick the two different colors that you will be playing against each other. Label them at the top of the chart with the :text: text tool or pen pen. 3. Spin the spinner by pressing ▶️ play then pause pause button. Divide the number that you spin (n) by 10. 4. Say the entire fact aloud with the answer. 5. Fill that fact in on color one's chart, then spin again for color 2. Alternate being each color, spinning, and filling in the chart. 6. If the row is already filled in, that color skips its turn. See which color completes the chart first. Circle that chart with the glowpen glow pen! 7. Work for 5-10 minutes. Duplicate the pages page if needed. 8. On the last pages page, click the mic microphone and read each fact aloud with the answer. If you are not sure of the answer share your thinking. You may use any tool to show your work. 9. Click check the check to submit your work.
