The second part to this activity will require you to find 3 items that will fit inside your boat: One SMALL One MEDIUM One LARGE Also think about the weight of the items. The SMALL item should be LIGHT in weight and the LARGE should be HEAVY in weight. So what do we do next? Place your boat in the water. First of all, does it float? Next, place the small item in the boat. Does the boat still float? Take the item out. Then, place the medium size item in the boat. Repeat steps above, does it float? Finally, repeat steps for the large item. How did your boat get on? Was it strong enough for each item to keep the boat a float the water? Did any of the items make your boat sink? Can your boat hold ALL 3 items and still, float? Record your results using the video button. Me and Bailey are about to test ours. We will upload our video in the announcements section later today.
