Next, click to add button add to start a new submission. Use the drawing tool drawing create a picture of a bug, Next to your bug, draw another picture of that bug's great-great-great-grandchildren 20 years from now. Will they be bigger, smaller, or extinct? Use your microphone tool mic to explain the differences between the 2 bugs.

This activity is designed to show kids how important insects are to the ecosystem, and how climate change could impact them and the surrounding ecosystem. This podcast poses questions from children to an expert in the field, and also includes “story reporting” on the topic submitted by children - as well as a few zany characters! This episode is 12 minutes long. This activity is designed to get students thinking about the difference between weather and climate. Materials are from The Carbon Alamanac's free Kids' Edition.
