Let's record your work by tapping the rec tool I will say a number and you will tap the label tool and put that many bears into the green box. Then use the drawing tool to circle the numeral card that matched your counting. Now let's rub out the circle and have another turn. Tick the check button when you are finished.

1. Use the recording tool to save the conversation you have with the student 2.Place the picture with the bears in front of the student and say 'I will say a number and you use the label tool to place that many bears into the green box. Ready? Eight.' Listen and observe as the student counts out eight bears. 3. Show the student the picture with the numeral cards. Ask them to use the drawing tool and say 'Circle which numeral card matched your counting?'. 4. Reset the image and continue if further evidence is required, repeat for other quantities to 9. 5. Use the skills to show the learning that the student has demonstrated
