After reading the story Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet students will create their own parade balloon using Pic Collage. 1. Use WEB SEARCH to find a picture of a street in New York along the parade route. Possible searches include: Broadway, Central Park South, 34th street. 2. Use STICKERS or students can use DOODLE to draw their own picture to represent their balloon. 3. Use DOODLE to draw the strings for the balloon. 3. Use TEXT to type a title.
