Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Science

Student Instructions

You learned about the three states of matter: solid, liquid and gas. Matter is anything that takes up space, and matter is all around us. You're going to go on a scavenger hunt to find examples of matter at your house. You will need to have THREE picture examples for each state of matter (a total of 9 pictures in all). 1. Go around your house and take 3 pictures for each state of matter. **Liquid Tip: You don't need to pour the liquid out of the container to show it, just take a picture of the liquid in the container if needed. **Gas Tip: You might need to get creative with taking a picture of the gas examples. If you can't get a picture of the example, you can just type out the word using the label or insert an emoji. 2. After you have all of your pictures, click add on this Seesaw activity. 3. Click photo and then click upload and select the cameraroll icon. Select all of the pictures you want to add and finally click the check 4. All of your pictures should be on your page, now resize and sort them in the correct column for solid, liquid, or gas. 5. Use the label to add a typed label to show what each object is. 6. Check your work and make sure you followed all of the directions. Then click check to turn in your work.
