This week we are learning about similes. Similes are a language feature that we use to compare two different things using the words 'like' or 'as'. They help make our writing more interesting and build a better picture in the mind of the reader. Work your way through the activity. Follow the instructions carefully. If your writing group time is on Thursday or Friday you will need to have your work done and ready to share back with the group.
