Student Instructions

1. Click ๐Ÿ‘†on the link link and pick a song (or both if you want) from the top row and a book (or both) from the bottom row and listen to them. 2. Click add to complete this activity. 3. On the template you will take one or more of the baby animals from the box using the move to add to the picture until you have the correct number of babies to match the story on the page. (Remember the last number you say when you are counting tells how many in all.) 4. Click ๐Ÿ‘†on the next page. 5. Repeat 2-3 until you have the correct number of baby animals on each page. 6. Click the green check to save your work. Challenge: Can you think of another animal that might live in the meadow? You can click on add page and make up your own rhyme about the animal and put the correct number of animals to match your rhyme. Hint- You can take one of the rhymes here and change it around.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity combines a traditional folk song with counting and rhyming. V.A.5 Counts up to 10 objects and demonstrates that the last count indicates how many items were counted.
