Teachers, save “Air Resistance” to assign it to your class.

Today you will design and plan a parachute experiment. After watching the powerpoints in Google Classroom, you will do this. Your challenge is to make a parachute which will create a lot of air resistance so your doll/figure flying in the parachute will fall down to the ground as slowly and gently as possible. You can test out your experiment by dropping your parachute from a height so it could be from the tops of some steps in your garden or from the balcony. Make sure an adult is with you when you test out your parachute, please. Maybe your variable is the different heights you drop your parachute from. You must plan and write up your experiment using the scientific method on the sheets below.
