Teachers, save “Environmental newspaper report” to assign it to your class.

As people are travelling and going out a lot less, the world has started to heal environmentally. Pollution levels have dropped significantly, the hole in the ozone layer has decreased in size. Can you write a newspaper report based on this information? You can write it positively (woohoo, the world is healing!) or negatively (what a load of rubbish!) depending on what you would enjoy doing more. Read through any newspapers in your house or visit newspaper websites to look through WAGOLLs. Attached is a checklist of what is expected within Upper Key Stage 2 writing and a checklist of criteria that will help to focus your writing. These are saved on separate pages on the template you can use for your reports so make sure you do yours on a new page! I would recommend planning and drafting it first before you upload it as I'm looking for some really high quality work. Please take your time with this, you can save your uploads as a draft so you can keep working on them instead of submitting them to me to approve.
