Silly Soup - Rhyming "at" Words

Grades: Kindergarten, Pre-K
Subjects: English Language Arts

Student Instructions

First, watch the video and listen to Ms. Elaine as she tries to make her Silly Soup! Tune into those rhyming words because she can only add words that rhyme in her soup! Next, tap add and create your own Silly Soup. Look at the first picture. What is it? It is a bat! So, your Silly Soup will have words that rhyme with AT! If the words don't rhyme with AT you need to say "bye, bye" and delete the picture. Enjoy you Silly Soup! Here is the song we can sing as we make our soup (sung to the tune of Pop Goes the Weasel) "I'm making lots of silly soup. I'm making soup that's silly. I'm going to cook it in the fridge, To make it nice and chilly." Learning Intentions: To recognise and match words that rhyme.
