Pumpkin Pie poem

Tap to begin this activity. Then: 1. Use to circle words you know in the poem. Draw a picture of pumpkin pie at the bottom of the poem. 2. Use to record yourself reading the poem. 3. Use to point to the words in the poem as you read them. When you're done, tap to post to your journal.

Teachers, you can change these instructions to have your students look for and circle certain letters or sight words in the poem. If you're using this activity on a computer or Chromebook, you'll want to change the instructions and ask students to use the microphone to record themselves reading the poem. I don't know the author of this poem, so if you do, let me know and I will credit them! It can also be sung to the tune of "Are You Sleeping, Brother John?"
