ALMA - Day 4: Narrative Creation Part I

This week, we will be using the video from the Literacy Shed "Alma" to drive our learning. https://www.literacyshed.com/alma.html WARM UP - PIE CORBETT WRITING GAME: In the city of Rome... (see example for description of game) TASK - 1st or 3rd Person Narrative Learning Objective - to create atmosphere of mystery and suspense Using the example attached as a model, students are tasked with producing a piece of writing for the whole film. If this is too much, focus on the opening of the story, writing up to the point where the door opens for Alma, leading to a cliff hanger ending. This may end up taking two days; second day - re-read, edit, publish (write out neatly) and record yourself saying your story with mystery and suspense that fills the film.
