Virtual Museum Field Trip

Go on a virtual field trip with your "Capstone Learning Artifact" small group! 1. FIND OUT ABOUT VIRTUAL MUSEUMS! On Newsela, read, underline, and quiz on "Take a virtual tour of these 12 amazing museums closed because of coronavirus" Here is a direct link: https://newsela.com/read/museums-virtual-tours/id/2001006966/?utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=web. (It is also in your Newsela Binder) 2. VISIT & RECOMMEND MUSEUMS! Find museum links, visit museums, and then write recommendations for your classmates: https://docs.google.com/document/d/14EC5iTCBJ-JQz6wX3S2FzPDcJiGEO2LZONvMJL2BZp0/edit?usp=sharing (It is also in our Shared Online Five Hive folder) BONUS- Find, visit, and recommend a museum that you learn about from your family. 3. SHARE ART! Each of you can find your own art piece to post. Take a screenshot of your choice from a museum exhibit that you feel strongly about. Use the drawing option so that you can insert your screenshot image. Use labels or a caption to share: • the title and creator of the piece you chose; • the museum it is from; and • why you feel strongly about it.
