Curious Moment: What Can You Create?

Click the LINK to hear the read aloud "The Most Magnificent Thing!" As you listen and watch, think about the materials you can start collecting. Use your imagination this week to create and build! Look around your home to find materials to build with: Legos, paper, Play-Doh, blocks, boxes, straws, blankets, sticks, string, cups... 1. Design and build with your materials. It can be ANYTHING!! MAKE IT MAGNIFICENT! 2. Tap the add button to add this activity to your journal. 3. or Take a photo or a video of your creation. 4. Label your photo or tap the microphone to tell about what you created. Use lots of descriptive words. 5. Tap the green check to add the finished product to your journal. 👨‍👧Family Why: Creating and building gives children opportunities to tryout new ideas, new ways of thinking and problem-solving. It builds our brains, enhances our understanding of math and science and supports healthy social and emotional learning.
