A Letter to My Future Self

Grades: Kindergarten
Subjects: Writing

Student Instructions

As you complete your Kindergarten year in 2020 try to think about the future. It is somewhere near the year 2032. You have likely completed grades 1-8 as well as your freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year of high school. Maybe you are graduating once again. We have moved far past the Covid19 pandemic and you are nearly an adult. No doubt, you have faced many challenges, had many first experiences, and are ready to move onto another new chapter in your life. What would you say to your future self? What do you hope you have learned or accomplished? What do you always want to remember about your time in kindergarten this momentous year? There is no right or wrong way to write this letter. It is from a young you to an older you. Say whatever you find important. Maybe your family can help you save it in a special place where you can remember to open it on that special day in the future. If you would like to share it here with us, you may. It is optional. You may also choose to share it just with your family or keep it a secret between this you and the future you :)
