We Are Learning To: Become familiar with the setting of our class novel. 1. Read or listen to Chapter 1. 2. Use Google Maps / Satellite and images to research what The Coorong and Ninety Mile Beach (South Australia) looks like. 3. Write a paragraph to describe the setting of this story. (What kind of land is there? What kind of water is there? What kind of weather, plants, animals are there?) (You paragraph should be about 4-6 sentences. The first sentence introduces the topic and all the other sentences contain the extra detail). 4. Draw/paint a picture or create a collage of internet images/photos to show what the setting of this story looks like. 5. Upload to SeeSaw. Make sure you use the +Response button under the correct activity in the Activities section.
