Teachers, save “Apple Pie Rhythms” to assign it to your class.

1) Tap 2) Tap 3) It is time to create your own pattern! There are 8 beats (lines) in the kitchen. On each line you can drag and drop a pie or an apple, OR you can leave it blank for a beat of silence. You need to use at least one of each picture, and at least one empty silent beat. 4) Tap 5) Now it is time to decode. Above each beat, write the rhythm that matches the picture. If the beat is empty, don't write anything. 6) Practice saying and clapping your rhythms. Place your finger in front of your mouth for the silent beat. 7) Tap and record yourself performing your rhythms. (See attached example) 8) Tap
