Student Instructions

1. Label the following decimals using the text tool: 0.1 0.01 0.001 2. Colour the decimal 0.152 in red (in the template of rectangles) 3. Colour the decimal 0.2 in blue (in the template of rectangles) 4. Record yourself explaining which decimal is bigger 5. Write both decimals as fractions 6. Repeat the steps above for the next set of decimals: 0.43 & 0.213 0.20 & 0.020 0.101 & 0.011 0.7 & 0.077 Learning Intentions: W.A.L.T. order and compare decimals and draw decimals as visual representations Success Criteria: W.I.L.F. knowledge of place values (tenths, hundredths and thousandths) and recognise these values as visual representations
