This is an adapted version of Assessment 3 from the 1st Grade Gameplan curriculum book. Create an answer key for yourself for future reference. Choose three of the unpitched percussion instruments shown. Without your students seeing, play a short rhythm on each (may need a couple of repetitions for younger students) and have them circle what they hear for each example.
