Scratch 'Em Off (Subtract 1s from Teen)

Student Instructions

Today you will be playing Scratch 'Em Off to practice the subtracting 1s from teen strategy. For this strategy, think about decomposing the teen number into its ten and ones values. Your goal is to play for 5-10 minutes and complete as many game boards as you can! 1. Click add button to start. 2. Read the direction for how to play that game on page pages 1. Go to the second page pages to play the game. 3. Click play ▶️ and pause pause on the fact cube to roll the cube 🎲. 4. Solve the fact that you rolled. Say the entire fact aloud with the answer. 5. Cross (scratch) off the the problem's difference from the game board. If there is not a difference available to cross off, roll again. Work until you cross off every square. 6. On the last pages page, click the mic microphone and read each fact aloud with the answer. If you are not sure of the answer share your thinking. You may use any tool to show your work. 7. Click check the check to submit your work.
