Multiplying on a Number Line

Grades: 4th Grade, 3rd Grade

Student Instructions

1. Pick two factors that have a product of 30 or less when multiplied together. 2. Use the drawing drawing tool to write the multiplication sentence, repeated addition sentence, product, and factors. Then draw the jumps on the number line. 3. Have a partner check your work so far. When you both agree that your work is correct, move on to the next step. 4. Click the mic microphone to record your voice. 5. Click rec record and explain how you know your representation of the number sentence is correct. When you finish explaining your thinking, click stop. 6. Click the check button twice to add this to your math folder.
