Today we are going to work on writing SUPER SENTENCES!

2. Carefully read the information on Super Sentences and watch the video 
3. On each 
brainstorm ideas 
into the tables for adjectives, adverbs and additional details to improve the simple sentence.
4. Type your new & improved Super Sentence into the blue box.
5. When you have fixed all the simple sentences- click the 
to submit your work.
Don't forget to use capital letters and punctuation when you type your sentences!

Original Activity created by Brianna Nish (Australia) This task is designed to help students to expand their sentences. To grow them from simple short sentences in compound sentences and increase the complexity of word choices. The original activity is quite long. I do suggest deleting some of the question slides (down to 3). However, if you are in the classroom, you could have this as an ongoing writing warm up and do 1 question per day and save as a draft. The video was created using the 'Powtoons' website. It does have a limited free trial available.
