This activity was designed with kindergarten standards in mind. The students are learning to identify and describe 2D shapes. This is a great activity for review, independent work, small groups, math rotation stations, enrichment, and/or remediation. K.G.2 Identify and describe a given shape and shapes of objects in everyday situations to include two-dimensional shapes (i.e., triangle, square, rectangle, hexagon, and circle). Only focused on circles, triangles, and rectangles in this activity.
