Sorting 2D Shapes Provocation, Monday, March, 16th, 2020 Day 1

Today you will be looking at a variety of 2D shapes, think critically about how you would choose to sort them, and explain your reasoning for the categories you come up with. Think about what is similar and different between the different shapes. 1.) Use the template below, can either print it out or use it as a reference. 2.) Each shape is numbered, on a piece of paper sort the shapes. 3.) Can create categories or groups, you may either draw the shapes in the groups you come up with or write their numbers. (Ex. Group one I placed numbers 3,4,5 together). 4.) Once sorting the shapes you need to record yourself explaining your work using the microphone tool in Seesaw. 5.)
