Student Instructions

1. Read the base word. Look at the end of the word. 2. If the base word ends in ch, sh, s, x, or z, you will need to add -es to the end to make it plural. 3. Use label and type the plural form of the base word in the second column. 4. Repeat for all words on the page. 5. Choose one of your plural words and type a sentence in the bottom box. 6. Tap mic and read all words and the sentence you typed. 7. Complete Pages 1-3. 8. When finished, click check to submit your work to your journal.

Learning Intention: I am learning that base words ending in ch, sh, s, x, and z need to have "-es" at the end when they are plural. Success Criteria: -I can transform a base word into a plural word with correct spelling.
