Student Instructions

Our names are important to us! They help identify us out of a crowd of people. With an adult family member, tap the link and watch the video of the story of "Chrysanthemum". You will need the picture of your name that you drew/painted the other day. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. 1. Tap the link and watch the video "Chrysanthemum" 2. Tap the add button. 3. Take your name picture you drew/painted and crumple it up! Now, try smoothing it out! 4. Tap the photo and take a picture of you holding your crumpled drawing/painting of your name. 5. Use the move to place the picture in the red name tag. 6. Tap the mic to record yourself telling me if your were able to get your picture smoothed out. How do you feel about your picture now? How do you think Chrysanthemum felt when her name was being made fun of? 7. Tap the red pause button to end your recording. 8. Double Tap the check to add your work to your journal.
