When division problems involve remainders we need to decide how to interpret the question. Solve the division problems on the template and move the labels below to explain what you have done with the remainder for that particular problem.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

1. 375 / 9 = 41 r 6 so need 42 as answer (Round Up) 2. 215 / 7 = 30 r 5 so answer = 30 (Ignore remainder) 3. 127 / 6 = 21 r 1 so answer = 1 (Use remainder as answer) 4. 60 / 8 = 7 r 4/8 = 1/2 so 7 1/2 pizzas each (Fraction Answer) 5. 325 / 4 = 81.25 dollars (Decimal Answer)
