I have decided to go with the Spanish translation of Tono alto / Tono bajo for high tone and low tone. You may want to replace this with the words Agudo or Grave for High and Low voice. Whatever your students are used to hearing. This activity is the Reading Practice from the Kodály in the Kindergarten Classroom book by Tacka and Houlahan from Lesson 1 of the Unit on Rhythm. It is also found in the Kodály in the First Grade Classroom book in the Kindergarten Review Lesson 3. This is the same activity, but now with a creative composition page at the end!
