COA: Tornado Poem

First with an adult watch the following clip taken by a real life storm tracker! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KDz6dGQ5RE Then look at the picture attached Think about how the clip and picture make you feel - discuss these thoughts with your adult Next use drawing tool to create your own tornado (see example to help you) After that write wow words around it to describe what the tornado 1. looks like 2. how it moves 3. How it makes you feel Then use the mind map to create a poem about a tornado using the following starter on each line: The tornado... Try and aim for 6 - 10 lines For example: The tornado sends a warning as the sky turns black The tornado begins to whirl as the howling wind gets stronger Finally use the microphone tool to record your poem
