Student Instructions

Page 1 Look around the class and find 3 items to measure. Put them together in one long line. Use the cubes to measure. Press add and use the photo to take a picture of your 3 items. Use the label to type how many cubes long it is. Page 2 Take the longest and shortest items and measure each item with cubes. Use the photo to take a picture of your shortest and longest item. Use the label to type how many cubes long it is for the shortest and longest items. Compare the 2 items. How much longer is the item? Show your working by label in the blue box. Use the check to send to your teacher!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Your students will need to have access to unifix cubes or something similar to enable students to measure with a non-standard measuring tool.
