Student Instructions
Tap on the 
to go to Scholastic Learning and scroll down to Day 1. They have been kind enough to set up online learning for us. Listen to the story and the informational book. Then tap 
button to share your favorite part from one of the books on page 1 and what stuck with you from reading both books on page 2.
1. Tap on the to go to Scholastic Learning.
2. Tap the button.
3. Tap the 
button to begin recording.
4. You can use the 
tool to type or the writing tools on the bottom to write the title and draw your reflection on either of the books.
5. Press the red 
button, tap 
, then tap page "2", and tap the begin recording again
6. Draw or type out 3 things that you remember from the 2 books.
7. When you are done, tap the 2 times

This is Day 1 Scholastic Learning, a part of a series of days of lessons to use with your students if your school is closed like mine due to the coronavirus outbreak and the need for social distancing. Some people are having difficulty with the link fully opening to the book links on iPads and other devices. It seems to be a problem with “pop ups”. I would suggest viewing the books from the browser and then going back into Seesaw to do the reflection part of the activity.
