Grades: 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, Kindergarten
Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

You will need 2 dice to play this game. Watch the video for directions! Object of the game: To "close" all the boxes or have the lowest number. Directions: First player rolls both dice- ex. you roll a 2 and a 4- you will add those numbers together 2+4=6. You then "shut" the boxes; you can do any combination that makes your total so you can cover up 1 & 5, 2 & 4, or 6. Remember you want to close all the boxes or end up with the lowest number. You continue rolling until you can no longer "shut" anymore boxes. At any point you can chose to roll one dice instead of two. When you can no longer roll add up the total of how many boxes you left "open" and record it using the pen on page 2. Then the second player rolls and does the same thing shutting all the boxes until they can no longer roll. They add up their total and record it on page 2. Player that rolls the lowest number is the winner!
