Student Instructions

Today you will be playing Hop the Line to practice the adding 1 or 2 by counting on strategy. Think about starting with one number and counting forward on the number line 1 or 2 more. Your goal is to play for 5-10 minutes and complete as many number lines as you can! 1. Click add button to start. 2. Click play ▶️ and pause pause on the fact cube to roll the cube 🎲. Write your fact on the line below the number line. 3. Model your fact by showing the hops on the number line. Use arrows to so the direction of your hop. 4. Return to your fact and write the sum (answer). 5. Say the entire fact aloud with the answer. 6. Work for 5-10 minutes to model as many problems as you can. Duplicate the pages page if needed. 7. On the last pages page, click the mic microphone and read each fact aloud with the answer. If you are not sure of the answer share your thinking. You may use any tool to show your work. 8. Click check the check to submit your work.
