Before we begin, take a moment to have a look at this very simple cooking show video from my kitchen to yours to see how you might put together your own cooking demo! I used clips to make my cooking show but you could use iMovie or even record directly into Seesaw or your camera roll if you wanted. Whatever is easiest for you. While I’m not the best cook, I will provide you will all the Irish frásaí you’ll need to record your very own show! Follow the instructions below to make your own cooking show for Irish this week! 1. Find a quick and easy recipe and check you have the ingredients to make it. (You might want to check with your parents that you are allowed to use the ingredients you need). 2. Scríobh amach an oideas. Write out your recipe, as Gaeilge. The a of your recipe. To add to the template. (If you have any frásaí you want to use you might take note of them now to help you as your recording later too) 3. Bí Ag cócaireacht. Start cooking! Bake or cook your goodies, taking as you go. You can take some too, if you wish. If taking a video please describe what you are doing in Irish. If using photos you can write this in afterwards using the label tool. 4. Once your food is ready, take one last of your wonderful creation. Or alternatively you may wish to video a taste test... be sure to include a few frásaí, mar shampla:”Yummy, tá an cáca seo ana bhlasta!” Now upload all your (and if you did one) to Seesaw and write a telling us what was the most fun or interesting part of being a TV chef. I will include a slide with some frásaí you may find useful and how to pronounce them! Last job - post to - yay! If you would like to share your recipe with your classmates you can upload your video again as a brand new post (not to the activity tab) and tag everyone! Perhaps we can all learn new recipes from each other. 🤗
