Student Instructions

Hello At Home Mathematician Learners! Today, the standard you'll be working on is using square tiles to decompose. Decompose means to break down. First, you'll have to work on a word problem about a square pan of lemon bars which will need to be cut into 9 equal pieces. Next, the brothers eat one row. And then the mom eats 1 column. You'll have to create a picture of these on the word problem page. Remember to type in a sentence to answer the word problem. For the problems set pages, you'll make arrays and decompose them. I hope you saved the squares from colored paper you've cut from yesterday's assignment or you may use shapes from the toolbox on the left of the problem set pages. Don't forget to write a repeated addition equation for this. Please take a picture of the arrays you've made and place it next to the problem. Then, click on the check mark on the upper right hand corner to submit your work. Thank you for another great day of learning!
