Today we go on a Landform Adventure!
We will read "A Landforms Adventure" by Rose Brooker.
As we read, pay close attention to the maps and how the physical characteristics of the geography in different areas are represented.
Reading Strategy: Main Idea and Details. A topic of a book is called the main idea. The extra information and descriptions that help the reader better understand are called the details.
Let's read the book together.
On slide 20, you will write the Main Idea and Details for the section "On the Road". Then write a summary for the section. (Refer back the model on slide 7 to help you).
