Student Instructions
1. Choose 1-2 Pigeon Explains videos to watch. Notice how the kids explain how to do something using steps, in order, and key words such as "first", "next", "then", "last". 2. Record yourself explaining how to do something - cook your favorite meal, play a sport or game, your favorite activity on the playground, etc... 3. Type or write out the steps on how to complete your activity. 4. Click the green checkmark to submit.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
**For teachers using iPads**. I linked the videos through a Google slide so ads are not an issue. So students can view the videos, click the link to open in Google slides. Click the triangle "play" button in upper right corner. Select - "present on this device". Each video should now have a play button. Once the student starts a video they can tap the "youtube" word on that video and it will open the video in a larger screen". I have also added a second page to activity that has direct links to the Youtube videos. My district IT blocks videos with direct links but embedded in a Google slide they work.
