Student Instructions

Hello Science students! In this activity, you will do two demonstrations to explore how Newton's Third Law of Motion predicts the motion that must be conserved. 1. Read the directions for the demonstrations. 2. Take a picture of the 'Skateboard Reaction' and 'Vinegar Rocket'. 3. Using a photo collage app, create a photo collage to present the two demonstrations done. 4. Tap add to add a submission. 5. Tap cameraroll if you are using mobile or tablet; or file if you are using web browser to add the image. 6. Tap mic to add a recording answering these questions: a. Explain how the motion of the skater is affected by the ball in each case. b. Describe how the bottle’s motion has changed. Explain your observations with reference to action and reaction. 7.
